MEMORABLE SPEECHES FOR YOUR INNER CIRCLE OR A GLOBAL AUDIENCE

Em Cooper’s Grammy acceptance was so beautiful, people came up to her all night to say how much it moved them.

She later emailed:

“Laurie, I am so grateful — your friendship and your speech editing power came together at such a critical moment for me and helped me hone what I’d written into something I could confidently deliver in 45 seconds. Amazing!”

Watch her speech for a hit of joy.

Laurie is amazing. She helped me prepare a roast of my friend for an event and it was a huge hit. Laurie listened to me, kept reworking the draft until I was comfortable with it, and stayed within my deadline. She is a total pro!

Thanks, Laurie!

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

WordsDelivered - Writing Help - Picture of Laurie.jpg

Laurie is an award-winning TV writer who’s written “Whoopi,” “Spin City,” “Charmed,” “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street,” and many others.

She has a Master of Professional Writing degree from University of Southern California.

Laurie founded Words Delivered to make the talents of successful TV writers easily available to the public.

She saw the need for a vetted source of really funny, talented writers who could tackle people’s creative challenges and help make important moments amazing.

Her own list of peak experiences includes accepting a Writers Guild of America Award, giving a talk at TED Active, and delivering her undergrad commencement address.

That speech at Michigan State was her first, and the spontaneous standing ovation from 10,000 people made her feel like Chewbacca in the throne room scene in “Star Wars. She wants others to get to feel that way, too
